How can I restore my creative cloud files folder on a mac? Unable to sync.

Question

I can't sync files and the Folder Location option is greyed out in the creative cloud app so I cant choose another folder. It looks like the folder was deleted and restored now the app seems to have lost track of where to sync. I've tried reinstalling the creative cloud app without success. Any suggestions on how to restore the link would be appreciated. Running OSX El Captain. Thanks.

Update - I did create a new admin account to see if I could get it to work - it does - so the challenge is now how to reset my existing main mac account so that it begins to work again - hopefully someone knows which files need to be tweaked to get this working.

Hi,Please try the steps below on your main account: Uninstall the Adobe CC desktop app from the machine (Creative Cloud Help | Uninstall the Creative Cloud desktop app)Set the permissions to 'Read and write' on Adobe folders for the all the users in the following locations:/Library/Application Support//Users/[user name]/Library/Application Support/Restart the machine.Install the Adobe CC desktop app (Creative Cloud Help | Creative Cloud for desktop)Regards,Sheena
