As far as I can tell there is no way to clear (or disable) the list of recent files on the home screen of the Creative Cloud desktop app. Considering I mostly use Lightroom, I'd rather not have these images come up when sharing my screen with clients, and I don't think my clients would feel great about having their private photos on display for others to see.

there's no setting to do that. for applicable apps, you can make (some) suggestions to adobe here, https://helpx.adobe.com/ie/x-productkb/global/how-to-user-voice.html
for others, use https://www.adobe.com/products/wishform.html

I had the same problem... It looks like that's stuff that lightroom decided to upload to the cloud. I didn't even have Lightroom for the last 5 years and there were nothing but files showing up that were 5 years old. I just installed lightroom. opened it and there were all the files so I just deleted all of them. It looks like that worked.

thank you for that @dagg66136449 but i'm doubtful that will help most cc users

I found the recent photos on my Lightroom mobile device. There should be an option to clear your recent photos, or not display them at all. There is an option in Photoshop and InDesign under File handling.
It seems like even Adobe support have no idea. I deleted the photos I don't want to show on Lightroom mobile App. That seems to work.

That's all very well to say, but if you click on Feedback there is no option to say what the problem is. Only if you are satisfied with the Adbobe Creative App!

Enter to https://lightroom.adobe.com/home
Select the files you desire and delete them. They will not show as recent anymore.

Thank you! For me, it was in express.adobe.com but still the same procedure.

Oh my! Why on Earth are you sharing your Creative Cloud log-in with clients??? That's so risky and unnecessary.
Collaborate on folders:
Go to the Creative Cloud website.
Select the folder. Select the Share icon and then choose Invite.
Choose whether you want to give the collaborators Edit permissions (Can edit) or View permissions (Can view). The permissions apply to all the collaborators whose email addresses you entered.

I think the OP was just showing the screen on his computer to clients, not sharing the login.

The issue is that ADOBE prevents the ability to clear file references from the CC landing page for files accessed in various programs. THIS IS A PROBLEM!

i don't think adobe exactly prevents the clearance. adobe just doesn't make it easy to clear recents.
