How does the storage in the cloud work?

Adobe Cloud storage is the most confusing mix I have ever seen.  I can't seem to find anything explaining how the cloud storage works.  It seems almost like they dont want us to know what we are entitled to.

I have a subscription to the Creative CLoud ALL Apps plan and pay almost $600.00 a year for this plan.  According to this plan I am supposed to have 100 GB of storage for Creative Cloud Network.  I only have about 15 files that I have saved from Photoshop to the cloud and according to the storage indicator I have eaten up 1/4 of my storage.  There must be something I am missing because these 15 files do not eat kup 25 GB of space.

I recently subscribed to the Adobe Stock and have only purchased 7 items.  I am confused on how I am supposed to purchase Adobe Stock items if they do not provide enough storage to save these items on the Adobe Creative Cloud.

I have also looked into purchasing more storage in their cloud, but the only option I see is for me to purchase a Business subscription and pay over $400 more a year just to bump storage up to 1 TB and get more capabilities that I DO NOT have a need for!!!

What good is the Creative Cloud Storage if the cost of it is astronomical and too expensive for anyone to purchase?   Is this Cloud only intended for BUSINESS USE???

The other thing that confuses me with Adobe storage is that if I purchase a   Photography Plan for only $9.99 a month I  20 GB or storage but if I purchase the $19.99 plan I get 1 TB of storage.

Why is the Photography plan so cheap for a extreemly larger amount of storage????    I am starting to think that the   20GB and 1 TB   Photography plans are not storage plans showing the amount of Creative Cloud storage, but are talking about a second type of Cloud Storage???

This is what I am talking about there is NOTHING I can find on google explaining what Adobe is talking about with CLOUD STORAGE.    It seems that there are several types of cloud storage here and ADOBE it doing a very pathetic job making it know what type of cloud services they are providing and how they are different.   They are also doing NOTHING to explain how to take advantage of the Creative Cloud Storage to use it correctly.

I say something is wrong here because I have watched a couple of TERRY WHITE youtube videos where he goes into the Creative Cloud from Photoshop and downloads items and it appears that he has thousands of thing in his creative cloud storage.  This means that either he has a very special unlimited storage capacity or there is some trick that NO ONE at ADOBE is disclosing as to what and how things are stored in the Adobe Creative Cloud.

Can someone please explain or point me to a document that explains how to handle this CLOUD or explain that there is more than 1 cloud storage area within the Adobe Apps?  Because to me it appears that the Adobe Cloud is basically unusable except for a very short term project with little storage.

I think it would be in the best interest of ADOBE to explain what is going on with their cloud storage!!!!!

i know this isn't a satisfying answer because you're trying to make sense out of a mixture of things that are only related because they store things related to adobe in non-local locations.  you aren't going to find a unifying principle (or anything else) between any two of them, let alone among a group of three or more.

but, i think, the easiest way to understand adobe cc file storage is as completely unrelated pieces of storage. first, there are the three commonly encountered desktop storage pieces; sync'd files, documents and libraries.

if you read about one, digest and understand it (and i think sync'd files are the easiest), you can then move to the next.  but you have to keep them straight because whatever applies to one, likely does not apply to any other.

here's basic info about those three:  https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/about-cloud-documents.html then for more info go here and check the beginner (if applicable) tutorials for cc useage and then advanced, https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/tutorials-explore.html

then with some apps and mobile storage that add other pieces
