I have a number of files in my Creative Cloud online storage. However, on my Mac (Big Sur 11.7.7), the Creative Cloud Files folder in my user directory is empty (apart from a hidden "Icon?" file). File syncing in my Creative Cloud App is showing "Up to date".
I have already paused and resumend syncing, deactivated and reactivated Core Sync finder extensions, renamed the old Creative Cloud folder and created a new one by changing the folder location setting in the CC syncing settings, quit my CC desktop app and restarted my Mac – to no avail.
What else can I do?
which cc online storage has a number of files?
ie, there are 4 sites:
https://documentcloud.adobe.com
only https://assets.adobe.com > launch more > sync folder has files that are also in your computer's adobe sync folder.
your local sync folder is being synced to your assets.adobe.com sync folder.

If my CC Desktop app is telling me that sync is "up to date" – where is it syncing these files to?

Where does it store the files saved to 'Creative Cloud' for offline access then? Wouldn't there have to be a copy on my local drive somewhere?
I am asking because, in Illustrator, I want to import swatches from another file. I am used to doing this via 'Swatches' --> 'Swatch Libraries menu' --> 'Other Library', which opens a Finder window from where I can select the file. But, since my files are in the Cloud and not on my Mac, I cannot select a file from which to import.
How is this supposed to work?

Nevermind, I suppose I'll just have to open the respective file and save the Swatches as a user-defined library. I was only confused because importing the swatches from the source file didn't work the way I would have thought it should, and because the 'Creative Cloud Files' folder was empty. I understand now that this folder is only used for importing files to the Cloud, not the other way around.

ok. (and glad you understand it because i still find the entire adobe cc file handling process "difficult".)

here's how to migrate assets: https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/transfer-assets.html?linkId=100000252571375
but your account wouldn't be changed automatically. check your account to what account type you have, https://account.adobe.com

I started out on an Individual Plan, but this change was initiated and another in my organzation was made admin, are you saying this change was not from Adobe?

there probably was no change. you were probably added to an enterprise subscription by your employer and you still have your individual subscription. ie, if you have multiple Adobe plans associated with the same email address and at least one is a business plan, Adobe creates separate profiles for each plan and gives each profile dedicated storage, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/using/manage-adobe-profiles.html
