Why do I have 2 versions of both indesign and illustrator installed?

How can I have just the most recent one?

Just deinstall the older one. You can have multiple versions installed and it is an option during installation to deinstall older versions.

But my old version writes hebrew the correct way and the new one types it backgwards, why would that be and how can I change that?
