As seen in the picture above, the old creative cloud folder is still there for me since i backed it all up, that's fine. But what is new is that other bottom folder, the Creative Cloud Files Personal Account...
It's empty for me now but I can't remove it from the list at all. Any ideas?
it requires a regedit to remove.
Update again, I seem to have removed it by messing around in the registry.

I did use an offical tool thing to remove it but it didn't do anything. I'm guessing this is because of the recent change to remove the folder all together for new users.

Update here. I now followed all the steps but the folder still remains. Unsure of what to do next.

Hi kglad, I did what the instructor doing until restarted the computer then I signed in again but it didn't remove the file folders navigation sidebar (I had 2 files like this). I found out that these 2 files exist in C:\Users\(UserName).
What should I do about it? any helpful feedback would be appreciated, thank you

mac:
copy any important file to another folder and then delete Creative Cloud Files + <account type> + <profile_name> + <email> + <GUID> (for example: Creative Cloud Files Personal Account email@abc.com ####@AdobeID).
default location, Mac HD/Users/<Username>/Creative Cloud Files
windows:
Open the registry editor (regedit.exe) & naviagate to: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Desktop\NameSpace You'll probably have two sub-keys. OneDrive's sub-key will be nameed '{018D5C66-4533-4307-9B53-224DE2ED1FE6}' Delete the other one, that will be Creative Cloud.

Hi thanks for the reply. I found the folder location below (OneDrive and other 2 folder). So should I delete these 2? just to remove this navigation sidebar?
Since Adobe discontinued the CC Sync Files, so this folder will be unused? and its recommended to remove this? I just want to get rid of this because it has email name on the folder which is should be private, thank you

Is it just me or does it seem absurd that they discontinued the service, but didn't provide an automatic removal of the sidebar icon to the non-existent cloud folder??
