I have a new Lenovo Legion PC laptop after many years with an old Asus.. On my previous laptop computer I had a Creative Cloud Files Folder. I worked with Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Acrobat, and more.
On my new Laptop with the Creative Cloud app installed, there is a Creative Cloud Files folder but nothing in it.
When I try to read about this, it's confusing. Are all files going to be only in the cloud web now? Even InDesign? Will there be nothing in the local folder? Thanks for any advice.

Hi there,
Thanks for reaching out. Please open the Creative Cloud desktop app and ensure that you're signed with using your source account or profile. Click File > Open Sync Folder. This opens the Creative Cloud files folder on your computer. Move the files from the Creative Cloud files folder to another folder on your computer.

Open your web browser and go to Creative Cloud online.
Depending on which services & apps you use, this is what's contained in your online storage. Download the files you need and save to your new laptop. If you still have files on your old laptop HD, copy them to a Flash (USB) stick and move them to your new computer HD.

Thanks for your answer. I guess I could get files from my old computer using a flash drive.
In the sync folder online, not all of my folders are there. And, on my cc desktop app, the sync is constantly running. What do I do about that?
Again, everything I have is new. I have uninstalled and reinstalled several times. I have used the CC clearner. This is very frustrating. I started working with this over 3 days ago. Also, I am not a real tech-y person.

Are you able to see your files in Creative Cloud web? Are you signed in to your account in the Creative Cloud Desktop Application?

Maybe you saved files to your old computer hard drive.
