Older Media Encoder keeps re-installing itself. HELP!

Hi
ACC keeps re-installing an older version of Media Encoder, although I have the latest one. I\ve tried everything I could imagine to stop this. I contacted Abobe support team. They did not help. This ennoys me so much, because the latest Premiere always opens files in older Encoder instead of the newest one. 
Can anyone give an advice? What should I do here? Adobe gave me generic advice that did not help. After that there was no further support from Adobe, but I still need to solve this problem. Pls, help.
