Prevent “Creative Cloud Files” folder being recreated needlessly in Home directory on Mac?

I've searched through answers and folks have said that pausing the "Cloud Sync" feature (which I don't want anyway) should prevent this...

But...

Every time I reboot my system... even though it's paused...

There it is again. “Creative Cloud Files” folder in my Home directory!

How do I disable this? I just want to use Photoshop and occasionally Lightroom, that's it. I don't need this other stuff. 😞

the adobe cc desktop has to be installed to run a subscription program.  that installation adds a variety of files to your c drive.  it's not clear you're trying to remove optional files.

however, you can change the location of your sync folder (which by default is in the location you described), and you can empty your sync folder, if that's what you want to do.

I found the solution—

Go into System Preferences, Extensions, and disable the "Finder Extensions" for "Core Sync" and ensure "Core Sync Helper" is disabled.
