I was having the same problem and FINALLY got it to work.  Try quitting creative cloud, then rename the OOBE folder again (you probably will still have the first OOBEold folder, so I renamed it OOBEold1.)  Then in the same library directory, go to the core sync folder and delete the options.tix file.

I did this, which is a combination of two different "solutions" I saw here on the forum, and it worked for me.

Good luck!

I have spent many hours following Forum suggestions to no avail.  Who is available at Adobe to TALK TO?  I tried the following steps in the thread:

Open Finder, click on Go > Go to Folder. Type in ~/library and hit enter.

Open Application Support/Adobe folder and rename OOBE folder to OOBEold.

Click on Apple icon on the top left, select System Preferences

Choose the network that is currently connected to internet that can be Ethernet or

Airport(Wireless). Click on Advanced button and click Proxies Tab.

Under 'Select a Proxy server to Configure' Uncheck all the proxy check boxes, then uncheck 'Use Passive FTP Mode (PASV)'.

This did not work.  This is extremely frustrating.  I do not want to cancel my CC license or uninstall CC and then re-install and download all apps again ... this would be such a waste of time.

Any suggestions.

Hi Zoharartist,

I'm sorry you are having problems with sync and given you've tried all the usual workarounds I think the only way we will get to the bottom of your issue is if you could send me (goodall@adobe.com) the sync log files.

The location for each OS are:

  • Mac OS X: ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CoreSync/CoreSync-yyyy-mm-dd.log
  • Windows: %APPDATA%/Adobe/CoreSync/CoreSync-yyyy-mm-dd.log

Note that on Mac OS X to see the user library from the Finder click on the Go menu and hold down the Alt/ Option key. Note that on Windows %APPDATA% is a variable that will change to the correct path depending on if version of Windows being used.
