Hello Guys,

I just updated to the latest macOS Ventura 13.0. Suddenly am getting a pop-up " CClibrary is damaged and can't be opened". It was not happening before the update. Is it a MacOS bug?

Although, PS, LR are working fine.

Please let me know if someone else got similar issues.

Device: Macbook Air M2, 2022

Thanks

@JRRGibbs, thanks for trying the steps. Could you please try uninstalling the libraries panel manually with the steps shared in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/libraries-panel-not-working.html

Let us know if that helps.

Open Mac system settings >  Privacy and secuirty >  There you will find an alert from Ventura to give access to the CCLibrary to files in your computer.

Thanks calsmillie. This worked for me too. Just clicked on the "Open anyway" button where it said the app had been blocked as it was downloaded from an unidentified source and problem appears to have gone away.

first, update your os and then restart your computer.

if that fails, and you have a mac, grant disc access to your cc desktop app - system preferences > security & privacy > privacy > full disk access > cc desktop app (in the midst of this step if you see an alert about granting cc libraries disk access, allow it and you're dont)

if that fails proceed to the following steps:

  1. quit all Adobe related products
  2. kill all the CCLibraries processes in task manager (win)/activity montor (mac).
  3. Delete all folders that start with “CC_LIBRARIES_PANEL_EXTENSION_xx_xx_xx” in this location*
  4. Follow the steps of Solution 2 in this article: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/libraries-panel-not-working.html
  5.
