In troubleshooting a Cloud Activity warning:
"Libraries not currently syncing
Open the libraries panel to sync assets to Adobe
cloud storage."

Where is this mysterious Libraries panel? (note that after I followed this path down a rabbit trail that I still don't know where the panel is still see the syncing error message).

I felt confident when my search on Adobe.com led to a webpages that suggested that I should download and run AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.dmg.

What a foolish act. Running that app deleted the Creative Clous app.
More clicking, another Adobe.com webpage had me download the CCLibrary installer. Whew.
Too soon to relax. All Adobe apps disappeared from the Applications folder and Dock (except for Ps, but it's nonfunctional).

I had to install LrC, Ps, and Bridge ......
LrC v13.5.1 installed successfully, with catalog intact!
Ps v25.12.0 installed successfully
Bridge v14.1.2.300 installed successfully

Correct answer kglad

restart your computer and retry, if needed.

My library is 96% synchronised ...???
The PC has long since rebooted, the temporary files emptied and the cache erased.
Don't forget I'm a computer scientist.
When I enter a group name in library, the response is very slow ‘like an old broken hard disk’.
When I enter the files for a total of 40 files for 26.2 MB it takes 2 hours.

I get this warning when I start up my computer each morning, you simply need to open the PS app while online and the cloud will update and the warning will disappear. Usually I don't even notice it and it resolves on its own.

if the above doesn't help, reset the cc desktop app by making sure it's in the foreground, then press:

Win: Ctrl + Alt + R
Mac: Cmd + Opt + R

Helpful, reset CC as advertized. But the jury is still out, as "Libraries syncing" has been displaying since resetting.

Good to hear that helped.

Later I found Release notes for the Adobe Creative Cloud desktop app that mentioned:

  • The Creative Cloud Libraries Synchronizer process now operates on-demand

Which looks like what you (and I) are experiencing.

I'm having the same issue suddenly. And no it isn't working on demand. AI has the issue of not syncing too.

[Windows 11 + CC 2023 + updated on both]Long time multi-media and graphics editor (almost 25 yrs), but NEW TO MOST OF ADOBE CC! ~ I really try to learn and research first. Please no dismissive responses assuming I didn't research or should've known / found just because you did. ~ Remember, it's not the newbie's fault most tutorials suck or are too deeply hidden to find, or that Adobe likes to make things overly complicated or change them up to keep learning constantly out of date.

The Libraries panel can be found in Illustrator and other apps in Window > Libraries

I have seen that message recently and showing the Library starts the synching.

I guess you are not a CC Library user. See: https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/libraries.html

Thanks for the info, Ton. I thought this was an easy fix -- Ps>Windows>Libraries was not checked. I checked it, then watched the left-right arrows in the toolbar go away, and libraries started to synch, for about 5 minutes, then quit.  Now I'm back to the "libraries not synching" warning (or is it informational., since I rarely use Libraries).
