Security settings on Documents

I'm getting the message that I can't combine files or save to this app because of the Document Security settings.  How can I correct this?

When you post a question you always need to tell the Adobe program you are using
There are MANY programs in a full subscription, plus other non-subscription programs
Please post the exact name of the Adobe program you use so a Moderator may move this message to that forum

Files that reside on your local primary hard drive can be edited if your computer's operating system has full read/write/edit permissions on that volume and folder.

Files in cloud storage can't be edited until you download them to your device first.
