Unable to sync files

I am trying to sync a large file to Creative Cloud and not only is the upload taking a lot longer than it should it also then fails after a couple of hours. As there is no progress bar that I can see I have no idea whether the file is even uploading at all.

The file in questions is 240mb zip file so not too big considering I am a design professional and deal with files larger than this every day. Online support kept me waiting for 20mins before referring me here. Can anyone help?
