To expand on the original question, why do I have fifty of them when I'm not using a single Adobe app, and how can I send the crowd home until I need it?
adobe installs have always been a file spewing adventure. users that like things tidy aren't good matches for adobe.
That could be Adobe's next ad campaign: If you like things neat, vote with your feet. I wouldn't have a car whose radio lacked a station selector, a volume control, or a power switch, so you may be right. Perhaps I'm too fussy to be a good fit for Adobe. It seems more likely, however, that Adobe's a lousy fit for me. In either case, A&P, Sears, Circuit City, et a great many al. have turned to dust. I'm still here, and I have plenty of company.
