Why did Adobe decided to discontinue CC files on cloud? [edited by moderator]

Hi there. I opened my CC app today and after a update, I got a message warning saying that Adobe is gonna discontinue the CC files on cloud. Then, I need to know how to proceed about my files on CC cloud, specially my XD files saved on cloud directly from XD. Will I have to save all them to another cloud service, like onedrive or similar, or Adobe is gonna keep its CC cloud files to current clients that are already using the feature? What am I supposed to do so I keep all my files, mainly including XD ones, saved? And what about my CC libraries?

After each update, Adobe screws up with something, incredible. Invision screwed up with their original content by replacing with a "freehand-only" approach, and now Adobe come with that. Being a tech professional is taking the wrongest course ever.

Correct answer Ton Frederiks

Files in the Creative Cloud Files local folder will no longer be copied to cloud storage. Copies of files in cloud storage related to Synced Files will be deleted. Files and folders shared with other users from Synced Files will no longer be accessible. Adobe apps leveraging Creative Cloud Synced Files for cross-device file sharing will remove those integrations.

only the local cc sync folder will discontinue syncing.  everything else remains unchanged.

I see... you're an actual employee, lol. That explains your pettiness and how far you go to defend the company of valid criticism (and even hide such criticism).

This thread is not locked in 3 months yet you chose to not only lock but delete mine after 1 day because you didn't like it.

Good to know!

@29593977

let's start over and work on fixing the issue you've encountered.  agreed?

I mean, I felt attacked at you actually claiming I was misinforming people by sharing a mere opinion on a forum and threathening banning for wanting that opinion to remain up.

Isn't it contradicting that you left a comment “for others” before you deleted it?

But if that topic is too unconfortable, then:

My file is gone for good. Sadly, there's no way around that.

The fixable problem that remains is:

What do I do if my payment to Adobe for the next (aprox) seven months hasn't decreased a cent yet the service was worsened in a service that was a cornerstone for my work?

How do I get a new a cloud solution with syncing since I have no budget left? Adobe libraries as they were left are not useful for me.
