ADE 4 crashes

I'll add my voice to the chorus: ADE 4 on my macbook crashes every time I try to open an Overdrive ebook or to transfer an Overdrive book to my kobo. Books show up no problem in ADE as does my kobo (and all the book titles already on the kobo), but I am having 100% failure on opening Overdrive ebooks.
