ADE downloading a file without start it

I' trying to start a .ascm-document. the proceed status is sill the same: "the content will download" without an option to cancel. I have to make a hard restart for the program.

I can't open the book.

    Ich bin Nutzer einer Online-Bibliothek onleihe.de

    Alle Bücher und Dokumente, die ich ausleihe sind im Format .ascm

    Das Dokument wird nicht im Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 geöffnet.

    -> Das Programm startet

    -> versucht die Datei herunterzuladen

    -> und bleibt in diesem Status

    -> das Programm muss neu gestartet werden, ohne dass die Datei geöffnet werden könnte.

    Betreibssystem: Mac OsX Yosemite 10.10.5

    Deutsch geht es natürlich schneller. Das Problem ist hier leider das zur Zeit irgendwas mit Digital Edition, Mac und Online nicht in der aktuellen Version von Digital Edition geht. Akteull geht es nur mit der 1.7.2: Adobe Digital Editions for Mac Download
