Hi,

 

ADE 4.5.11 doesn't work on my Win 11 Surface. What can I do?

      Hi,

       

      in an other community I read, it coul help to rename the "my digital editions" folder. Now it works. Perhaps this could help other Windows 11 users.

      Changing the digital editions folder name also worked for me. 8-27-25

      I have a new Levono laptop with Windows 11. I cannot download ADE? Any suggestions?

      Hello,

       

      I've had issues with ADE 4.5 not working on Windows 11. Unable to authorize my laptop. I decided to switch the application to compatibility mode Windows 7 and it worked without issues.

      To start an application in Compatibility mode, right click on the short cut in the start menu and go to "Open file location" then right click again on the shortcut and select Properties and then on the Compability tab, select Windows 7 compatibility mode.

        You can try to rename the "My digital editions" folder, then start ADE and it will create a new folder.

        That worked for me and my Surface Pro.


        changing name of My Digital Editions folder worked for me also.  cheers....jpal

          La version la plus récente de Adobe Digital Editions ne fonctionne pas avec Windows 11. J'ai essayé la suggestion publiée mais sans succès. Il serait temps qu'il y ait une correction pour ce problème ne croyez-vous pas ?

            Bonjour, j'ai changé le nom du fichier My digital editions pour Mon edition digitale et tout fonctionne. Merci.
