Question

ADE is suddenly no longer converting PDF files into epub files after authorisation

Hello,

I've been reading ARCs quite a while and only with the last two advanced reader copies am I experiencing issues. I download the file and authorise it by Adobe Digital Editions, which is necessary because they are protected files. I then transfer it to my Kobo ereader. But they remain pdf, causing reader issues (very small letters, not able to highlight anything, not able to change font or size etc.

How do I fix this issue and get it to transfer to epub as it should ? 🙂
I've already tried the following
- delete and reinstall ADE
- delete and re-authorise my accounts on ADE
- delete and redownload the files
- update my ereader
- log in and out of my ereader
- reset ereader

The issue seems with Adobe, as it's the second one and exactly the same issue again.
Help, please? Thank you!

Sounds like you are receiving the pdf file for review and the app won't convert it to epub, different formats, one is static the pdf and the other reflowable, the epub. Unless you can request an epub, the pdf is it. ADE reads both formats, but where you get the file from determines what the file is they send.

I have a Kobo Clara HD ereader (1st edition). And through other platforms where you can request review copies, there are zero issues with getting the ePub file on. However, these don't work through ADE.
