ADE will not work on PC

I use XP pro, have 2gig of RAM and masses of free space on HD

I have download ADE 2 and v1.7.2 and neither will run stating error message, has encountered a problem and must close. Having just bought a book I am not too happy with Adobe. Any help/solution would be gratefully received

V2.0 is dodgy on XP (even SP3 where it is meant to work), but 1.7.2 should work OK. Difficult to diagnose with so little information.

Try the Sony Reader program (https://ebookstore.sony.com/download/)

That is designed for use with Sony eReaders, but works standalone and supports Adobe DRM books.
