This is old but for anyone reading, I followed the steps here and was able to fix my Library loans in my Kobo May 2023. I deauthorized/reauthorized/deleted/redownloaded using the latest version of ADE with no luck. After downloading ADE v 3.0, I erased my authorization on the computer and eReader and after re-authorizing everything was able to read my Library loan.

I jusst upgraded from a laptop using Windows 10 and ADE 3.0 to a desktop also using Windows 10 and I tried ADE 4.5 for several days with no luck.  Yesterday I found a list of Adobe apps in red ink.  At the very end was a reference to ADE 3.0 with dire warnings against installing it.  I installed it anyway and the first time I tried to use it I got an authorization error.  I searched the error and found an article with a fix that involved a couple of adjustments to the register which I made using regedit.  From start to finish, I spent a half hour and everything seems to be working perfectly.  Today I went looking for the list that I started with yesterday.  I haven't been able to find it - yet.  If one can find the url for the list, a half hour may see ADE 3.0 installed and running.  Who knows?

I found version 3.0. did everything needed but it will not download the needed Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 Service Pack 1 so back to the beginning once again.

This all started when I opened a library book which I have done numerous times before. The need edition is not very good.

Just over it for now.

I cannot download adobe digital editions 3.o for windows - I get an error message every time I try to download.  I am short on time and need to be able to download product.

Then click on the link for 3.0:

And scroll at the bottom for the actual link for  3.0 for Mac, you got this error:

Not Found

The requested URL /pub/adobe/digitaleditions/ADE_3.0_Installer.dmg was not found on this server.

I am also having this problem and I cannot find a reference to adobe digital editions 3.0 anywhere on the Adobe Site that actually opens to the actual download. When I click on any mention of adobe digital editions 3.0 it returns with download details for the latest version - & scrolling down below the the latest edition 3.0 appears to be clicked on & that takes me to a list of all the products that DOES NOT include adobe digital editions 3.0!

Nanaky's reply " you must used the Download for 3.0 of the link" would be great if only I could locate that link!

An answer resolving this problem is needed for me to be able to borrow books from my library.
