Adobe Digital Editions 4.5.8 Library Issue

Since installing the 4.5.8 version none of the 120 books in my library are available.  If I try to open a book I get a message indicating the book cannot be opened due to errors, subsequently a large exclamation point is placed on the thumbnail of the book cover.  The program worked just fine prior to installing the new version.  Help!
