Adobe Digital Editions and Kindle

Hi I have the Adobe Digital Editions 4 and have recently purchased a Kindle 6.0 but It doesn't appear in the Digital Editions to allow me to transfer e-books onto my Kindle as I was wondering if the Kindle would be an device you could add to your software in the future so that we could transfer e-books and it currently isn't listed on devices that are compatible with the software.
