Authorizing multiple devices in Adobe Digital Editions

When I try to authorize my computer for Adobe Digital Editions, I get a message that says "You can only authorize this computer with an Adobe ID that hasn't been previously used to authorize any other computer or mobile devices. Please try again." What do I need to do?
