Book glitching, pages missing

I have purchased two books and downloaded them onto digital editions on my iPad. Both of them worked fine until yesturday, when one book completely glitched. Some pages are completely blank, others are cut through by white lines, making it completely unreadable. I tried deleting and reinstalling the app and signing in and out of the app, but nothing has helped so far. Any suggestions????
