Can't deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions

Hi,

I can't seem to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions on Mac OS X.9.5. I've followed the advice to hit the Cmd, Shift, and D buttons, and entered the password (that I just updated), but I get an error message that says:

Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try after some time.

I tried updating the software to the latest version (4.5.7), but that failed. I also tried uninstalling the program with MacCleanse and then reinstalling, but it failed to delete my login information. Any suggestions for how to fix this problem?
