Can't open the application

I have tried multiple attempts at reinstalling the program and this resolves nothing. The program refuses to open at all. There is no error message just the hourglass on the cursor that shortly goes away.

I have the same problem, I'm using adobe 4.5 with (I think) windows 10. I already downloaded adobe 3.0 and the application open, but not the book I want to read...
