can't transfer digital book from ADE to my Nook glow light plus

Question

It's been about 9 months since I've done this. I downloaded a digital book from my local library and associated, or opened the book, with ADE.

I can read the digital book using ADE but I can't transfer the digital book from ADE to my Nook glowlight plus e-reader.

I contacted Nook and they suggested I download and upgrade files on my Nook reader which I've done. I called Nook back the next day and they suggested I contact ADE.

When I try to drag and drop the icon of the digital book from ADE to my Nook, the icon is ghosted and isn't dragged and dropped to Nook.

This is me, again, the OP. I was able to transfer the digital book file by dragging and dropping a copy of the digital book

to Nook by driagging and dropping that book copy from C;/users/admin/My digital editions. Not sure how a copy of that book is created in My digital editions but that is what works. When I UNinstalled ADE 4.5 and redownloaded ADE5.45 onto my computer, I stiil have the same probem. I bypass ADE to transfer the digital book to my Nook digital e-reader.

Thank you!  I've been fighting this problem for a couple of months and have tried almost everything, but as soon as I open my nook in ADE, it shuts down.  I had to search for the downloaded title to find its location, then was able to drag it to the nook and it's there - thank you!  thank you!  thank you!
