I encountered the following message when I tried to download from our library to my MacBook Air (running Sierra). The last time I downloaded a book was about a year ago (prior to mac update). Worked fine then.

Can anyone help?

I have the same problem as this person

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

    E_ACT_NOT_READY

I have this problem on a new Mac Book Air with Mac OS Mojave. I had no problem on my old Mac downloading library books. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Adobe software with no luck. Someone help please. Adobe was no help on the phone support since the Digital Edition is a free product!

Do you have a solution to my problem? Does anyone have a step by step to the error message on the Mac?

Just found answer in previous post, re hidden file activation.dat. Deleted and reactivated. Worked great!
