digital editions 4.5 ignores alt f4, the X, file exit, file close etc.??

The latest version of digital editions (4.5) ignores alternate F4, the X, File Exit, File Close etc.??

I'm in Windows 10. Anyone else experiencing this?. I have to use the task manager to close it.

    I renamed My Digital Editions. When I started the app it created My Digital Editions. There is nothing in either the renamed one or the new one. A separate user has it's own file system so the ebook is not seen.


    Can you under the new user download a file?

    Try it with right click and run as administrator

    I tried it but it didn't work.

    The arrow to move to the next page goes dull and doesn't work so once you click the X nothing works.

    You must check the permissions on the old user. For this need help of Microsoft.I can not help for this. Sorry.


    I downloaded a different ebook and it worked fine as the old user. The problem was apparently related to the book I had started using digital editions 3.5 and tried to continue after upgrading to 4.5. I upgraded when 3.5 wouldn't start and said a newer version existed.
