Digital Editions locked up and deleted most of my bookshelf

My Digital Editions locked up when I was trying to move a book to my Nook. I had to close it through the task manager. When I went back in, most of my bookshelf on Digital Editions was deleted. I restarted my computer to see if that would help but it did not. Please help. Thank you.
