Download problem

I'm using an IMac OSX 10.9.5 with Adobe Digital editions 4.0. I am getting the following error message:

“Unable to download. Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

E_ACT_NOT_READY”

Please help!

    You should be able to correct this problem by deactivating and reauthorizing the application. On your keyboard hit Command+Shift+D. This should clear up the problem.
