Photoshop elements 2001 classroom in a book is an adobe press book. I purchased it through Adobe press.
The only way I can access the book is to return each time to my Adobe press account. I've tried to download the e-book, but it saves only in HTML format.
I tried customer support, but apparently that is via Pearson, and it is useless because Pearson focuses only on their books.
I have downloaded hundreds of books, and this is a first for me. Any suggestions?
Thank you

Hmmmm.
I think the problem is that I purchased a Web book, not a digital book. That is probably why on the Adobe press account, my only option is to "launch" not "download".

Hi Diane,
Adobe Press is an imprint of Peachpit Press (which in turn is owned by Pearson). While Peachpit is the official publishing partner of Adobe, all technical support is via Peachpit, not Adobe.
However, as a big fan of the Classroom in a Book series, I'll see if I can give you a hand 🙂
- Sign in to your Adobe Press account on www.adobepress.com
- On your Account page, under the Digital Purchases tab, you should see your Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 Classroom in a Book purchase with 3 ebook digital download options. For example:
- If you click on the Click here to download your PDF link, the PDF should download to your computer. You can read more about this process here:
- Together with your ebook purchase of Adobe Photoshop Elements 2021 Classroom in a Book, you also get access to the special Web Edition of the book. This will also be listed under your Digital Purchases tab. For example:
- If you click the Launch link this will open the Web Edition in a new browser window. This is an online-only version of the book and therefore you can't download this version.
- The Adobe Classroom in a Book series tells you to go to www.adobepress.com/support if you have any problems. This redirects to a Pearson-hosted help system which I don't find to be particularly useful. If you still have problems downloading your PDF, try emailing them at customer-service@informit.com or fill out this online contact form (choose Digital Products Help as the Topic):
Hope that helps 🙂
Edit: I see you've replied while I was typing my response 🙂 I'd get in touch with Adobe Press and see if they can add the ebook version to your purchase - its the same price for the ebook + web edition as it is for the web edition on it's own, so I can't see that being a problem 🙂 Use the email address I gave you above or the contact form. No harm in asking 🙂
