E_ACT_NOT_READY iMac

i got a new iMac an now Adobe Digital Editions says Licence Communicationserver Error: E_ACT_NOT_READY.

What can I do?

Hi Barbara,

There can be various reasons why you could not de-activate successfully.

Can you try to reboot the machine and try again?

If De-activation still does not work, then you can follow the following steps:

Kill ADE : On your mac, Press "command-Q"to kill ADE.

Then Navigate to /Users/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Digital Editions and drag the activation.dat file to the trash.

It should delete the activation record from mac.

Now when you launch ADE, you will no longer be activated.
