E_ACT_NOT_READY | Unable to Erase Authorization

New Here ,
Apr 01, 2020 Apr 01, 2020

I have multiple email addresses. I've been using a new Google email address more and more, and am running into issues with Adobe Digital Editions when I try to borrow eBooks from Onleihe that doesn't use myoriginal/default SBCGlobal.net email address.

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

E_ACT_NOT_READY

My Google email is already listed as a secondary email in my account, but I cannot access books in Digital Editions. (For my library I used my Google email address and Onleihe must pull that info).

So, I tried to deauthorize Adobe Digital Editions, even uninstalled and reinstalled it, to no avail. I keep getting that error and cannot add a secondary email in that program specifically (I assume that would be possible since it lists the old email as ‘default’).

"Unable to Erase Authorization. Please try again after some time."

I don’t want to erase my default email from my account, I don’t want to run into issues with paid programs, such as my Photoshop. Wondering if I were to change my primary email address, would that allow / change the default email that comes with the download of Adobe Digital Editions BUT NOT impact Photoshop?

I’ve waited. Had this problem for months now and tried chatting with Adobe and they suggested I’d post here, lots of people with the same issue it seems.
