This is my first time using Adobe Digital Edition and hopefully my last. I'm trying to add a book which is in an acsm file to the library but I keep getting this error message. I'm on Windows 10 if that helps. I've tried troubleshooting the issue with these solutions:Erasing the authorization and re-authorizing it Going into regedit, deleting the adept activation, then reauthorizing itRestarting my computerMaking sure I have the latest adobe softwareReinstalling Adobe Digital Editions Trying a previous edition software My issue still isn't resolved after all these methods I've tried. I'd love a solution to this so I can read the book I need for school. Can someone from Adobe please assit me with this?

looks like it is a discrepancy with your Adobe ID. I'm experiencing the same issue. I have a cretive cloud account, but I can't log into ADE with that, so I had to create a new login, but I get that error trying to open the book. And there is no one to call about this I need this book for training on Monday and I'm getting NOWHERE!

Same problem over here, tried to buy the same book twice, it didn't help, I don't know what to do and I am in a real hurry to access the content of the book because of a deadline.

me too, same problem in mac Os Mojave last update digital editions 4.5.11, other books .acsm works and download again but one with this error
