Having Trouble with Vendor Authorization

Downloaded a purchased book from Google Play into Adobe.  It won't play and won't transfer to Kobo saying it doesn't have a Vendor Authorizaation.  Every time I put in my password it doesn't recognize it.  Now it won't even give me a new password.
