HELP!! Nothing about Digital Editions 2.0 is working

Okay, for the last time (I've only typed this twice before)

I need some help with this program. It either crashes or I get error messages (authorization and ebook access errors) I can't import my existing library or add new books. The URLLinks don't work, I can't access any of my Adobe epubs (including ones I spent good money on) on either my computer OR my Nook. This is getting old real fast. I am running Windows 7 and tried to upgrade from DE 1.7(?) to DE 2.0. And to top it off, I don't see anyway of contacting support (I just get sent to the Getting started page and there is not help there!)

There are lots of bugs in ADE2.0. Try replacing ADE2.0 with the older but more reliable v1.7.2.

(You can have them both installed at once if you like.)

Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.
