How do I authorize ADE for my mac laptop?

How do I authorize ADE for my mac laptop? And if i do that will i be able to use Overdrive to read loaned books from the library?

Start Digital Edition.

Go to help > Computer authorize.

Enter your Adobe ID and Passwort and authoizre the Programm.

Hi I downloaded Digital Editions on my Mac. When I open it, Digital Editions open into my library. However, there is no menu options. There is no option to authorize my computer. I am unable to open books I downloaded from my library on my Mac. I get the following error message:

Unable to download

Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem:

E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY_OR_PKCS12
