I am having issues authorizing my download. When I try to it tells me that I need to check my internet connection. My connection is fine.

I had to download ADE to read some ebooks that I purchased. After I downloaded it I tried to authorize using my Adobe ID and it says that I need to check my internet connection. I did that and my connection is fine. The chat person that I talked to said it is a technical issue and told me to post my question here.
