I can't change my Adobe ID

When I sign in to my account settings and enter my Adobe ID to change to my new e-mail address and click "save", I get the message , "your account changes couldn't be saved"

    Please try after sometime or make sure the new credentials meets the Adobe’s userid/password requirements.
