I have just started using MAC and I cannot transfer public library books from ADE 3 to my NOOK.

I have just started using MAC and I cannot transfer public library books from ADE 3 to my NOOK.  I get the error CE_COPY NOT ALLOWED- No permission to copy the book.  When I download the same book from the same library onto a Win PC there is no problem transferring it to NOOK
