Kobo will not Open Books from ADE

I have been trying to open books on my Kobo downloaded from Overdrive. I have uninstalled, reinstalled, unauthorized, authorized and tried different computers. I keep getting the same message that my e-reader is not authorized to open the books. 

 

I have tried authorizing using my Adobe ID and my Overdrive ID. 

 

nothing. I have contacted Kobo - no help.

 

I have contacted Adobe - was told to use the chat feature, person on the chat feature said because it is a free product they don't offer support. 

 

It is clear that I am not the only person having these issues. I am accessing the books from my library and should have access to read them.

    I have the same problem 

    unable to open previously purchased books (from Kobo) on ereader or on computer

    Another bunp from me!  OverDrive authenticated.   The Ebook reads well in ADE, but my Kobo (Aura), authenticated, tells me it cannot open the book because it is protected by DRM and I have to re-auth.  I went through the entire process 2 times with Kobo, still the same issue.

     

    Please help!

    Same problem here.  How about posting the solution instructions where everyone can see them?
