Non-email Adobe ID in Digital Editions?

I'm trying to move my Digital Editions (DE) Collections to a new computer.  DE on the old computer is authorized to what is apparently an old ID that is just my name and initial, not an email address.  The latest version of DE, which I've installed on the new computer, won't accept that ID, but requires and email ID.
