the ADE indicates “Not Responding”.

I bought the BOMA e-book 2017 for Office Buildings.  I downloaded the Adobe Digital Edition 4.5.  I have the Book in my Library, but it will not open and the ADE
indicates “Not Responding”.

    After countless hours of trying to solve problems with ADE, I am calling it quits. It worked okay for years, then it stopped. Now it is just a time sink as I try to get it to work. It may not cost $$ but I can't afford the time it has taken with no solutions in sight. Bye.
