Transfer single device book to another device

I purchased an acsm book, I opened it in my mac with Adobe Digital Editions 4.5 and I can read it there. I decided to start reading it in my android phone instead but when I try to open the acsm file in the android application I receive "W_ADEPT_CORE_WRONG_DEVICE" error. I checked the book and it says that it can only be read in one device.

I want to transfer the book from my mac to my android phone so I can read it there but I don't know how can I do that.
