Trying to activate Adobe Digital Editons

I keep getting an error code E_AUTH_NOT_READY.  Then below that it says Digital Editions  encountered an error on the activation server.  I have tried several times and I am not getting anywhere.

Not sure if you are downloading books from your library or buying them, I had problems with the same error and did the following with success.

1. Erase your pc authorization in the help menu of Digital Editions.

2. Log into your library account and select a book to download, the same error should come up, when prompted authorize your pc from this page and you should have solved the problem?

This worked for me, good luck.
