unable to open a library book on my Kobo Glo HD

I regularly get a message 'Oops! This document couldn't be opened' when I try to open a library book that I have copied to my Kobo from ADE 4.5.1 and it goes on to say that my Kobo is not authorized.  It is; but I deauthorize it and reauthorize as suggested under Kobo help and this usually solves the problem.  It is no longer working.  Any suggestions? 

(I've also signed in and out of my Kobo account but this is no longer working either.)

I'm getting very frustrated - I never had this problem with my Kobo Touch or earlier versions of ADE.

    Thank you so much.  I was at my wits end and ready to pack in my Kobo, which I love. 

    I tried deauthorizing with my Kobo plugged in and borrowing a new book from the library.  It worked!

    I am holding out hope that it will continue to work and if not I still have the option of switching down from version 4.5 to 3.0
