World ending crash right before exams

So the e-book for my college textbook required digital editions to be read (i only have an ipad pro) and now the program has complete crashed on it. I will not let me open any files on it and when I tried to reinstall it, it just sits there in the login screen “loading”. It is exam weeks and I would loooooooooooove access to my texts books. So ummmmmm..... what the duck adobe? Is there a better or different drm program I could use?
